and for that there is no excuse. too lazy i guess and nobody reads this thing, but i've come to realize, "who cares, it's for me to look back at and see what i was doing or thinking about on that certain day".i went up to san francisco with the girls to see kristina contes at young play memories in july of this year. we were so bummed that kristina could not make it, but we managed to have a fun-filled weekend in san fran as well as carmel, monterrey bay, napa, and driving down the coast. all girls weekend without any men, booze, laughs, and no sleep. the best trip i have ever taken in my life!!!!

our last winery stop. look at us, we're all crossed eyed and happy. that's the way life should be.
of course i had to write on the sand and put my ugly feet in this picture, but i think it came out cute.the first pic entering san fran, i thought it was the golden gate and it's actually the bay bridge. this pic makes me laugh because you can see how excited i was to see a bridge. talk about a small town girl, huh?
the trolley cars were a freaky experience. and the full house house, had to check this place out. i grew up watching that show and sometimes late at night i find myself watching it. shhhh.
and of course felicia and i had to take a picture at young play memories where we would have sat at kristina contes class. i was bummed out the whole weekend about the cancellation but kristina made it up to us. she's a rockstar!!!!!!!
and finally girhadelli square where we had kara's cupcakes!!! those by far are the best cupcakes i have ever tasted. check them out!!!

About the sleep: yes, I let them cry. I have let them cry from the time they were 2 weeks old (with exceptions for upset tummies or out of the ordinary behavior). Sometimes, when I'd let them get to that over-tired state (before I knew I was doing that), they'd cry for hours before going to bed. Once I started the nap schedule, I chose the cry it out method because, with 2, I have no choice, I can't hold and rock 2 at the same time. When i see them so much as start to slow down their movement, I know it's nap time (even if it's just 1 hour after they woke up) and I put them down. I let them cry for the full hour if they want to. They don't anymore, but they did at first. If I have my timing right and put them down before they're over tired, they won't cry at all. Just whine a little until they fall asleep.
At first it was REALLY hard not to go in there, but for my own sanity and their well-being. I did it and now it's paying off.
