happy face, 86, and the fray

Finally some freaking pictures man!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


La familia had a party this weekend honoring my grandfather's 86th birthday. My cousin and I planned the shing ding because my grandpa has been feeling quite lonely since the holidays are coming up and especially because my grandmother's birthday is around the corner. So we gathered all the family (sad thing is we haven't ALL been together since the funeral) up and had a pot luck. Some damn good food I must say, the only pot luck foods I knew how to make were already taken so I took over an old-fashioned pie from the local grocery. How sweet I am. HA!!!

Check out the cake, my cousin dropped it right after he bought it. It was flattened and top layer broke away from the bottom one so it was completely hammered. Freaking hilarious. It still tasted good....carrot cake. mmmmmmmm!!!


So my beautiful, adorable, spoiled little nephew was able to attend the gathering and I had so much fun with him. He just grabbed my hand all day and walked around with me and actually said MY NAME FOR THE FIRST TIME!!!! He pronounces the "ka"in my name very well, it's a good thing he doesn't say it twice though. hehehe

So this is his new thing....the happy face!!!!! He squints up his face so much it looks like it hurts.








I don't think I've ever showed you guys a pic of my brother. Uh, we don't look anything alike, huh???? I think the only thing we have the same is our last name and that's about it. He looks mainly like my mom and acts just like her but he has my dad's eyes and eyelashes but acts nothing like him. Then I come into play, don't look a bit like my parents but I definately have my dad's personality. For the longest time I thought I was adopted but I was the only baby born in the hospital that day so I guess I'm from them. HA!!!! I was born in the smallest hospital ever, I think there was like 10 beds total. How messed up!!!!!



So here you're looking at my favorite 2nd cousin Roberto or "Berto" (my cousin's son) I was his babysitter back in the day, he's 17 now. My cute little NICU baby, he was born 3 months early and you would never be able to tell, he is so cut it's ridiculous.



Just some random pic I took of my brother, Berto's mom and dad. The guy on the right is my cousin Vince (the one who dropped the cake) one funny SOB. Everything out of his mouth is a bad word and some sarcastic remark about being a dump truck driver. Long story. At first I thought Vince was a little too much for Edder since he's pretty vulgar but Edder totally loves him. We stayed at my grandpa's house till 11 that night shooting the $hit with them.





Finally the pic I promised of Vaughn, his halloween costume was too cute. He was T-Rex and the funniest part of that costume was the head, the teeth of the costume kept covering his face so he would walk around with his head tilted back so he could see. I love my baby!!!!!





I finally changed my song, check it out. I LOVE Grey's Anatomy and The Fray so I had to put the two together.
