From one beaner to another beaner that's what she said. Felicia, the bestest friend a girl could have gave me this beautiful bean necklace for my 30th birthday. There's a funny story to this that Felicia and I both will laugh about forever, let me begin.

About two weeks before my birthday Felicia told me I'd be getting something in the mail so I needed to be on the lookout for a package at my doorstep. Well I was working a crazy schedule at that time, one on and one off like I always do and when I woke up for work one day I went into the kitchen to get some water and Edwin walks in with a big package. "Hey you got a package in the mail, it was in front of the door, here". So he hands it to me and at first I thought it was a CJ then I remembered I already had a CJ, then I went on to think it was my birthday gift from him so I acted all cool like if I wasn't expecting anything.

See, one night I was doing the bills online and I saw a big purchase through Amazon so I new he bought me something, I just didn't know what it was. So anyways I opened the package and there it was, one of the presents I had on my list that I wanted for my birthday, a Tiffany necklace. (yes I had a list, it's a big deal for me, I'm weird like that)

I just got this big smile on my face and I started yelling "Oh Edwin, I love you, thank you so much, how did you know"?! he comes out of the bathroom and says "Damn, you got a Tiffany necklace, someone must really like you." I said "Shut-up, I know you bought this for me, don't act all bad ass"! He said "Uh, I didn't get that for you, who did"? I looked inside the package, tore everything apart and there was nothing stating who the present was from. I started to panic because I thought it was some joke or something until I remembered back to telling Felicia all the presents I wanted Edwin to buy for me and this necklace was one of them.

See last year me, Felicia, and Edwin all went up to Las Vegas for my 29th birthday and Felicia bought herself the exact necklace in gold and I begged Edwin to buy me one in silver and of course he said no since we were spending a lot of money in Vegas. WTF????? How can a husband say no to his wife, well this dude has no problem with that. HA! HA! So after about 15 minutes of wondering who in the world would get me such an awesome present I yelled "Edwin, I know who got this for me, it was Felicia"!!!!!!! So Edwin goes on to say "Holy shit, she got you that, she must really think you're a good friend or something, WOW!, you better get her something nice for her birthday". "Um hello Edwin, her birthday was 3 months ago, remember we were in Vegas for it"!!!!!! "Oh yeah, did we get her anything for it"? Um, yeah, where were you"???? Then we went on to talk smack to one another like we always do, we're weird like that. So I called Felicia while I was driving to work and told her the whole story and she just laughed not really so much about the story but about the fact that Edwin had to live up to the present she got me. HA HA Edwin!!!! hehehehehe!!!!!

So this was one of my fabulous presents for my big 3-0. I can't thank Felicia enough for making me feel special. I'll never forget this birthday, you're the best!!!!!!!!!!
