then and now

Ten years together and three years of marriage!!

The journey began in 1996 when Edwin and I met in college. We met while Edwin was registering for new student orientation and I was the loser conducting the orientation program as a favor for a friend.

Just wanted to share some of the funny and precious memories I hold dear in my heart. Thanks for taking a peek!!!!

2003- Two weeks before we got married, Edwin graduated with his M.B.A. I'm so proud of him, he was 25 at this time, worked full time, went to school full time, and put up with me.




June 7, 2003- Our first walk together as husband and wife.

2004- Our favorite past time-sleeping. After a hard night of drinking, you have to take a nap.
We're sleeping on his little sisters bed, it's a damn twin!!



1996- Drinking it up in the desert. Bonfires, coolers full of beer, and lots of friends. This is something we still do today but only in the winter now since we're such babies to go out in the heat.




2000- UofA graduation. I'm so proud of Edwin, he went to work and school full time and paid his own tuition and books without any loans or help from anyone. What a guy!!!







1997- College graduation. Dumb ass friend behind me
giving me bunny ears and also showing my 'gaucho' eye
that Edwin still makes fun of to this day.

Look at my right eye and you'll know what I'm talking about.






1996- Our first Christmas.

really happy that day.



1999- Nursing graduation. We were in a long distance relationship at this time. He drove up from Tucson to be with me on my special day. Awwww!!!!







2005- Edwin's first trip to the Grand Canyon.

2005- Edwin's first trip to Las Vegas. The boy had a big year in 2005, he got out of the house and actually enjoyed something other than Tucson. HA! HA!!

Happy anniversary to us! I can't believe we've been together this long. Of course we met early in life and had lots of issues growing up but we managed to stick together and become one three years ago today. I love this man, he's pratically a genius, he loves his family, takes his job and future very serious, lets me do whatever I want, never goes out without me, deals with the fact that I can't cook for the life of me, and he supports everything I do in life. I really do not know what I'd be doing right now or where I'd be if I didn't have him in my life.

I love you Chione!!!!!
